Abbarotes El Arcoiris Robbery

On June 3, 2013 at about 9:01 PM, Abbarotes El Arcoiris, 2201 Court St, was robbed by two African-American males who were armed with a handgun.

The two suspects entered the store and demanded cash from the clerk and then fled on foot, said Det McClure of the Sioux City Police Dept.

The suspects were described as African-American, both in their late teens or early 20's. One suspect is 5'7" to 5'9" weighing with a thinner build. The second suspect is shorter, between 5'5" and 5'7" with a heavier build. Both had hooded sweatshirts and bandanas on.

The suspects fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The two employees in the business at the time were not harmed during this incident.

Detectives with the SCPD are looking for any additional information someone may have as to the identity of the suspects. People with information can call the Investigations Services Bureau at 279-6365 or Crime Stoppers at 258-TIPS (8477).
