Sioux City Police apprehend Burglary Suspects after short pursuit in Morningside
On January 29, 2014 at approximately 12:38 p.m. Sioux City Police responded to a burglary in progress call at 1925 S. Pomegranite. An alert citizen observed suspects enter a garage at that address and called police. The citizen gave descriptions of the suspects and vehicle. As officers arrived in the area the suspects took off in an attempt to flee. A short pursuit ensued. During the pursuit, suspects were involved in an accident and then finally stopped in the area of 4th Ave and S. St. Aubin. Suspects were arrested and transported to the Woodbury County Jail.
Lester Junck (53) Sioux City (Driver)
Charges: Burglary 3rd, Theft 2nd, Serious Eluding, Reckless Driving, Failure to stop and give aid, Driving while license revoked, No Insurance & Stop Sign Violation.
Ryan Eastman (25) Sioux City (Passenger)
Charges: Burglary 3rd, Theft 2nd and Three warrants
