Warrant for Anthony J. Barton

**UPDATE**

On Jaunuary 9, 2014 at abotu 1:45 p.m., the U. S. Marshal's Fugative Task Force arrested Barton in Sgt. Bluff, IA.

 

The Sioux City Police Department is looking for 23 year-old ANTHONY JOSEPH BARTON who has a warrant for his arrest for a charge of Going Armed with Intent.

On December 19, 2013 Barton assaulted 22 year-old Karilynn Schroeder, Moville, IA, and struck her with her vehicle. Schroeder and Barton had been involved in a relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend.

Barton is a white male who is 6’ 2”, 235 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair that he keeps short.

Anyone with information on Barton’s whereabouts should contact the Sioux City Police Department or the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
