Fatality Accident on Jan. 11, 2026 - 26SC00966

Original Release on January 11, 2026 at 11:00 p.m. - On 01/11/2026 at approximately 0419 officers were called to the 1600 Blk of W 14th St. for an accident-causing injuries.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a crossover SUV that had struck a utility pole and unattended parked cars.
The SUV was occupied by two individuals that were transported to Unity Point for potentially life threating injuries.
One of the occupants of the accident succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased at a medical facility.
This is an ongoing investigation and the parties involved are not being released at this time. Further information will be released at a later time.
